The Complete Guide to Miniature Therapy Horses

Our Focus: Helping Others

You wouldn’t believe the amount of calls/emails/texts and messages Lisa receives asking about how to train a horse for therapy. We LOVE answering these questions. We want to be an open book for those who are interested in using miniature horses for therapies. This year has been tough: COVID has hit us hard, and we haven’t been able to visit with those we love to see. It is heartbreaking for us, however, it opened doors to help others, even more than before, to do what we do. And that, has been a blessing.

When we first started this business, 7 or 8 year ago now, we called some of the bigger named organizations in this world of miniature therapy horses and NO ONE would respond or help us along the way. So, Lisa used her many, many years of horse experience coupled with research and training techniques in natural horsemanship and we slowly but surely developed a training method specific to Miniature Therapy Horses & their Handlers. Since then, we have trained over 100 horses in different capacities for therapy work (with the occasional, “Oh no… this horse is SO not cut out for therapy…” thoughts), and made a difference in the lives of thousands of people in our community.

On the topic of helping others: we created another (cost effective!) option for those who want the information of training horses, creating a program, who to contact for insurance, how to initiate conversations with facilities, the list goes on and on. This new option: The Complete Guide to Miniature Therapy Horses is our treat to you, for just $150. You get all of the experience we have had over these wonderful years, and get to create your own autonomous program. We give you all the tools you need, with suggestions here and there, to create the best miniature therapy horse program you can be.

At the end of the day, we can teach you all we know and show you how we do it and ultimately we will all be different. Because, we are all different people. There are no trade secrets to what we do. We believe that if we can get every person who wants to do therapy work with their miniature horses, donkeys, etc… to keep the same level of excellence in the field - we can do so much good in this world.

Don’t ever stop asking questions. We love questions, we love conversation. And we love equipping others to serve even more people than we could do on our own. If you would like to purchase The Complete Guide to Miniature Therapy Horses, you can Click Here.
