Valor VIP Full Program
VALOR VIP is a complete anti-bullying program created by Lisa Moad, the owner of Seven Oaks Farm . The initial program began with Valor; a program designed to support our local police and fire departments. The original intent of our program, Valor, was to bridge the gap between law enforcement officers and the community members they serve. We created an informal, friendly environment and invited the public to meet our horses alongside the officers who served their community. This partnership led to the desire to present anti-bullying information to the schools in various districts around town. We developed an informal anti-bullying program titled VALOR VIP. We turned our attention towards teaching upstanding citizenship – the basis for VALOR VIP.
VALOR VIP is available for purchase as a complete set to those who would like to use it in their therapy program. You will receive the full script, teacher resources and research, poster designs, student pages and ideas for using the program in a variety of settings. Studies show that the programs that achieve the most success with addressing and deterring the problem of bullying are those that are positive in nature and focus on student involvement. Programs that are punitive in nature and focus on consequences have the least impact. Students also respond best when given positive models of behavior and self-help methods. VALOR VIP is designed to address all these needs plus provide resources for the teacher and parents.
