WHOA is a powerful word

Whoa! A powerful word, it can stop a 1300 pound horse and can be used to help our children stop bullying. This May we launched an anti-bullying program, called Say Whoa to Bullying. We presented the program to several  third grade classes local schools with the help of our horses and Officer Kristy Collins from the Hamilton Police Department. Together we are able to bring a positive, clear message to kids to help them understand what bullying is, the types of bullying and how to stop it from happening. The response from the schools has been extremely positive. The program also uses the horses as a way to positively reinforce some of the basic ideas and lessons that are taught. Along with having children meet the horses and participate in the program, we also have materials for classrooms teachers to use and review throughout the school year. The program also focuses on recognizing the different abilities each person has that makes them unique and special. Our hopes are for local businesses to rally around the project so we can bring our program to all of the schools in Hamilton, Cincinnati, and our surrounding area. The program is the only of of it's kind and will have lasting positive effects on our children. Your donations fund these programs, you play an important part in changing lives and help us to serve others, bring joy and offer hope.

Thank You!
